Files You Process

Files you upload or select (from your device or Google Drive) are processed locally in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or retain your files on our servers.

Google Account Data

If you choose to import or export files using Google Drive, we request access to your Google Drive files using the drive.file scope. This scope grants access only to files you explicitly select using the Google Picker, or files created by UPBIP on your behalf. We do not access any other files in your Google Drive.

We do not store your Google account credentials or access tokens beyond the duration of your browser session.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymised usage data (e.g. pages visited, tool usage frequency) via analytics services to improve the product. This data does not include your files or personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate our file-processing tools
• To enable optional Google Drive import and export features
• To improve our tools and user experience
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

4. Google API Services

UPBIP's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the file import/export feature you request. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the feature you activated.

5. Data Retention

Files processed by UPBIP are handled entirely in your browser and are not stored on our servers. Any temporary data created during tool processing is discarded when you close the tab or navigate away.

OAuth tokens for Google Drive access are stored only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session and are not persisted to disk.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies (e.g. via privacy-respecting analytics) to understand how our tools are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Children's Privacy

UPBIP is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
